Liquorices - this is one of the most effective remedies for newly sprouting corns. Create a paste by grinding together three to four liquorices sticks and half a teaspoon of sesame oil. Apply directly to the affected area.
Lemon - tie a slice of lemon over the affected area and leave overnight. The acid helps in softening the skin.
Papaya - make pure unripe papaya juice and apply it directly to corns. It will irritate the corns and dries it out eventually.
Indian Squill - roast the bulb and apply over the corn. Secure using a gauze and leave over night to soften the corns.
Green figs - make pure green figs juice and apply directly to the corns twice daily. This will help to soften the corns.
Chalk powder - finely ground chalk and mix with little water to create a paste. Apply directly to the affected are and leave overnight.
Chamomile tea - soak your feet to soften the skin and soothe the pain.
Lanolin - it is a great moisturizer. Simply apply directly to your feet.
Once you have treated your corns and the skin is soft enough, gently remove as much dead skin as you can. Use callus brush or pumice stone to rub your feet. Moisturize your feet after every treatment.
Other Suggestions for Corns Treatment
If you are suffering from corns you must avoid using tight shoes and high heels sandals. Massage your feet every night to relieve pain due to pressure, you can apply moisturizer while massaging. Put on clean socks and leave it overnight. These procedures can soften your feet and relieve tension on your feet. You can also try to relax your feet and legs every hour by simply sitting down and raising your legs onto the chair.
You should also eat food rich in vitamin D and E, for these is good for your skin. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables and drinking lots of water is also beneficial. For it can help in improving blood circulation in your whole body.
