Common fever is described as the increased in the internal body temperature. It is not a disease itself but rather a symptom of another disease. Temperature increases to protect our body from infections or injury. Our body's defense system rises up collectively with temperature.

Holy basil leaves - boil twelve grams of this leaves with half a liter of water. Take once a day with milk sugar and cardamom.
Fenugreek - make tea from these and take twice everyday. It helps in cleansing the body and gives a soothing relief.
Saffron - this expensive herb is another effective remedy for fever. Simply mix half a teaspoon of saffron to 30ml warm water. Give the patient 1 teaspoon of this tea every hour to lower the body temperature.
Raisins - soak 25 pieces of raisin to half cup of water. Crush in the same water and mix with half teaspoon of lime juice then drain. Take twice daily.
Apricot - mix one cup of fresh apricot juice with one teaspoon honey. Drink this to quench thirst and flush out toxic in the body.
Bloodwort - infused 15 grams of bloodwort to 250ml water. Should be taken twice daily to induced sweating.
Grapefruit - mix equal amount of grapefruit juice and water. Drink twice a day to relieve burning sensation due to high temperature.
Orange - it helps is strengthening the digestive tract and can boost immune system. Drink pure orange juice daily.
Hog weed - infused 15 grams of hogweed with 250ml water. Drink twice daily to lower down body temperature.
Coffee - the smell of coffee, particularly the Arabica and Canephora variety, can help in reducing nausea, depression, fever and soothe respiratory system.
Proper Diet for Common Fever
People who have fever are advice to drink lots of water and orange juice. You must also eat fiber-rich vegetables and fruits to flush out your body's toxin. Eat three balance meal everyday so that your body retains the energy and recover faster from fever and from the underlying disease causing it.
